Helping to provide food relief for those in need

Written by The Selwyn Foundation | 13 November 2025

During the 2024/25 year – and in light of the ongoing cost of living crisis – the Foundation made special emergency grants of $100,000 each to social service providers working with kaumātua and families experiencing food insecurity, as part of its Social Impact and Mission outreach.

A similar grant was made to Te Tāpui Atawhai | Auckland City Mission to help in providing food parcels for people in need.
